In response to the devastating floods that struck the Czech Republic this September, our company, Jihozápadní dřevařská a.s., has decided to provide financial assistance to the municipality of Brantice in the amount of CZK 200,000. We were fortunate that our location was not affected by the floods, and therefore, we feel obligated to respond in solidarity and help those who were not so fortunate.
This amount was roughly half composed of voluntary contributions from our employees, to whom we extend our deep gratitude.
We greatly appreciate the dedication and commitment of all the volunteers and rescuers who tirelessly help in Brantice and the surrounding area. Our thoughts are with the affected residents, and we believe that our contribution will help them overcome this difficult time.
